My Baby's Gone, guitar chords

Post Fri May 14, 2004 11:14 pm

Does anyone have guitar music for My Baby's Gone off of Waiting for Herb?
I've checked the vaxxine site, and searched a lot, haven't found it though.

It's a great tune, I'm also wondering who sings it, it sounds like it isn't Spider, maybe Joe Strummer or one of the other band members???

Oh, email is atemlos99@hotmail.com if anyone can help.

I just spent a few minutes trying to figure the tune out and this is what I came up with:

[Am][Am][C][G]
You got to weep, you got to wail,
[Am][Am][G][D]
You gotta drag yourself on hands and knees bleedin another mile along the trail
[Am][Am][C][G]
Ya gotta laugh in the face of the devil when he's hanging on to your shirt tail
[Am][G][Am][Am]
You got to hold down the lind of the coffin and hammer in the last nail

Chorus:
[C][Am] [G][Am]
My baby's gone so far away
She's never coming back to me

etc...

It seems right to me, but I'm not exactly a great musician.

Ciao,
Derek

Not sure of the context of your question.

Joe Strummer - one time front-man of The Clash.

Joe Strummer - producer of The Pogues' {i]Hell's Ditch[/i].

Joe Strummer - stand-in lead vocals for the Hell's Ditch tour after Shane's departure

Joe Strummer - political activist

Joe Strummer - Very sadly now known as the Deceased Joe Strummer.
