Rockin' out!

Post Thu Mar 22, 2007 11:49 pm

On St. Patrick's Day my band (The Poxy Boggards played to some 700+ people at the Galaxy Theater.

If any of you were there, thank you so much. It was the best night of my year, hands down!

James, thank you for being a great inspiration. Without you I never would've picked up the instrument.

Here's a pic of me rockin' out on one of the speakers during our encore with my new (extremely awesome) accordion (from Dave's!)

Well... y'see... I was sweating a lot. And it would seem that the only part of my leg coming in contact with the pants was the knee.

Kinda freaky. Who knew I had such sweaty knees?

Oh, I'm also wearing my Pogues shirt (which you can see is also pretty sweaty.)

Something James wrote in one of his posts here went into my head a few songs into the set. I was sweating pretty badly and he was telling someone about one of his accordions he liked but it couldn't take all the sweat pouring into the keyboard... I started fearing for my new accordion. (It made it through just fine.)

Next time... darker colors (and tighter pants.)
