What A Wonderful World-Shane Macgowan cover

Post Mon Apr 25, 2005 3:00 pm

I remember reading somewhere that Shane MacGowan did a duet with someone on a punk version of Satchmo's "What A Wonderful World" but then I checked Itunes, Kazaa, 2 bitorrent websites, but i cant find it anywhere. Does anyone have a site I can listen to this song from>?
I am not Irish but I like Irish music for some reason.

I think I still have that single, which totally rocks. Shane did a cover of Nick Cave's 'Lucy', and Nick did A Rainy Night In Soho.

shane and nick did a video for it as well, though it's not very exciting. just the two of them sat on stools lip synching. they look like the greatest of friends doing karaoke drunk in a bar somewhere. which is probably exactly what was filmed. it's on nick cave's video collection, which is on DVD here in the states. nick has a few funny comments about it.

"What A Wonderful World" (Shane and Nick Cave), as well as Shane's version of Nick Cave's "Lucy" and Nick Cave's cover of "Rainy Night..." are all now available as part of the new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds box set, B Sides and Rarities. :)
