Nice. I don't exactly know why but I usually give South Australia a pass on the cd in the car. Medley though...steals my heart.

Sorry Mick, I don't think so. Pretty sure Joe Strummer replaced our Mr.
Chevron due to Phil's illness.

I think Mick meant to type "without".

Pogues at the Metro, Boston - December 1, 1987

not sure if this has been posted before - if so, I apologize, but a quick forum search turned up nothing

http://ickmusic.com/index.php/2007/03/0 ... -in-boston

to get you in the mood for this evening - pretty good quality stuff, with Joe Strummer on guitar singing "London Calling", and "I fought the law"

Also, the first live version of "Medley" that I have heard.

*EDIT* Now that I look even closer, I see that this was, in fact, posted by RevolutionRock several days ago - once again, sorry about that.

Thank you Mr. Joyce, this was my first show.

PS-You are listed from NYC, yet the Longhorn. Are you the son of McCloud
or something? :D

I had no idea who McCloud was when you mentioned it, then I looked it up - ha! That's great - can't believe I never heard of that show.

"Sam McCloud is a rustic country sheriff from a rural part of the United States. He travels to the big city and joins the police force, using his country ways and laid-back approach to nab the bad guys"

I did not even go to school there, just grew up there - but they start recruiting you to be a fan of their football team early in life, and they got me - kind of like New Englanders and the Red Sox
