I dunno, you'd have to ask Iggy Pop & David Bowie, as it is a line from a song I enjoyed, not a life mantra, dullard!

I thought the original post was perhaps interesting, certainly nothing wrong with it, now I feel sorry for the poor fucker who posted as he seems to have been turned into some sort of Whipping Boy (you see what I did there?).

Fuck em, mate. Don't be bullied. You be Shilpa. They can be Jade.

There is so much about this that is confusing to me. But don't worry. I don't feel I've been bullied.

What is Shilpa and what is Jade?

Amazingly, They have actually shown clips of the U.K. Celebrity/All Star? Big Brother here. On the late night news, I believe. Jade is a civilian, former contestant of BB, and Shilpa is an Indian actress. Jade, and others?, bullied Shilpa in a racist way, J. got voted out of the house, and is despised all around, right? They also showed Leo Sayer freaking out about having to wash his underwear, by hand?

I loved the first season of Big Brother, here, when all they ever did was sit on the couch, drink beer, and fight.I've watched the Mexican BB, especially funny if one only understands pequito Espanol.

She's probably on a permanent period or something. But she doesn't talk much like a lady now, does she?

Yeah,a "permanent period", and any contrary point I choose to express regarding anothers postings or opinions, leads to Medusa Dating Service comments...by another woman,no less.I may be bitchy, but I own up to it...and am consistant, at the very least. The one thing that actually pissed me off was another woman making sexist comments. As for talking like a lady, I do an' I don't, as needed.I wouldn't encourage a whiner, spouting off about the legal ramifications of internet forum postings, myself. But have at it boys!

Shocking. And as I have contributed to the "Medusa Dating Service" jokes in another thread, I guess I'm another female sexist aboard. Somebody should finally make all those dirty sexists walk the plank!

Contributing to and originating are two very different things. And certainly the context of the "joke" comes into play here. If you are speaking about two men, well that's a little more clever then, isn't it? As for, stating that a contrary discourse between a male and female is some sort of romance, I find that utterly annoying. And I found the repetition of said annoying joke, in a seperate instance even more irritating - as well as dull, if that's actually possible.I didn't direct the statement to you, clearly...as I was not annoyed by your comments.

What's your stance on the "permanent period" remark? Would that fall outside the bounds of sexism too?
