Celtic Connections Festival runs from January 17th to February 4th with a line up that includes Solas, karine Polwart, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Idlewild, Isobel Campbell, L'Occidentale de Fanfare, Seth Lakeman, Robyn Hitchcock, Peter Buck from REM, Fiddler's Bid International, Lunasa, Salsa Celtica and Clannad's first live show in 10 years.

Accordian superstar Sharon Shannon, who recently beat U2 to the Irish no. 1 spot with her debut DVD, Live at Dolans, will be performing on January 24th in a concert broadcast live on BBC Radio 2.
