I know they didn't write the words but meledy is never mentioned. I love the part at the beginning the duet with shane and terry is great.

if that doesn't qualify i don't know how 'board majestic shannon' has been left out of the last 2 greatest hits albums.

any of the band got suggestions.

as for albums.....'Hell's Ditch' the remastered version isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

Every time I make a new mix tape of the Pogues I absolutely have to include "Gartloney Rats" and "My Baby's Gone" and I was really glad to see that a couple of other people mentioned those here. The drumming on "Gartloney Rats" just totally kills me.
the mirrors would do well to reflect further

Down, Bastard and Boat would be great tracks to revive. Boat was played during the P&L tour. I don't thing Bastard was ever played and Down may have featured in the early set (before my time). The Pogues have a FANTASTIC back catalogue. I hope as the 'reunion' continues they venture into more tracks from their past, rather than just the obvious greatest hits  or even better ... some new ones!

I never hear much about 'Lorca's Novena' anywhere and I really like that song alot so I suppose i'll go with that as being underrated. Maybe 'Sit Down By The Fire' as well, I enjoy that one too. Especially the build-up and final few seconds of instrumental at the end...

I think very underrated (from studio CD´s) are Wake of Medusa, Hell´s Ditch, Night train to Lorca. But Lorca´s novena is great as well.

Album? Pogue Mahone and Hell´s Ditch (two of my most favourite albums...well, except rum sodomy, red roses and waiting for herb, they are all my most favourite:-))

Limerick Rake - tremendous vocal delivery and a good old leap about after half time. Marvellous!

Hell's Ditch is one of my favorites. I can never choose between HD, RSATL and IISFFGWG...

The 2 most underratted songs for me are Down In The Ground Where The Dead Men Go (wich is my personal favorite) and Night Train To Lorca, which is another excellent song.
