Kitty live in manchester - top notch

Thanks for that.

I noticed that he had also put up Thousands Are Sailing, which is even more special for me since last Saturday, but when I posted the link it didn't work.

Typical. :?

Thanks for the vids John, you must have a steady hand.. Looks like you got the whole gig there. 8) The early numbers sound a bit ropey alright but it looks like it got much better later on. Shane took his time coming on didn't he..

Heather, this link seems to be working fine.

Just looked at some videos of the Manchester gig on Youtube. Shane could not keep up at all with Fiesta I think the band nearly had to slow the whole song down for him.

I'm sorry I'm a bit sick of it.

Okay the sound wasn't up to scratch, get over it.

It was still good gig, and I'm not being biased because I had my name called out or went backstage.

The above was my opinion, get over it.

Its an open message forum, therefore we are all entitled to an opinion.

It does feel sometimes on here like all your permitted to say is 100% positive stuff all the time.

It doesn’t make me or anyone else any less a Pogues fan for saying it.

Merry Christmas.

Of course you're entitled to you're opinion, I wasn't saying that.

I just think it's time we left it.

Happy New Year anyway.

 Yeah, I heard Lincoln and Douglas debated this in 1860. A hundred years later JFK and Nixon did the same. Gerald Ford, on his death bed, said he watched the Youtube clips from Manchester, and said it was the worst Pogues gig in his lifetime.

Would we be leaving it if the subject was "Manchester - The Best gig in the history of the band"

I dont think so somehow.
