Stars In Their Eyes - Sat 23rd Dec

Post Thu Dec 21, 2006 5:13 pm

Just noticed that this coming Saturday 23rd December the DJ Mark Radcliffe, a long time Shane and Pogues fan, is appearing on ITV1's Stars in their Eyes Christmas special as Shane!!

If anyone can pull it off hopefully it's Mark. Looking forward to this one...

Celebrity Stars in their Eyes!

Post Sat Dec 23, 2006 11:32 pm

Just watched the annual "Celebrity Stars in their eyes" when Mark Radcliffe came on to sing a song in the guise of none other than our beloved Shane MacGowan! it was quite good if you ask me - and he won! well worth the watch!
The Boy's of the NYPD choir Were Singing Galway Bay, and The Bells were Ringing out for Christmas Day.

He did the same verse twice, and it was a rubbish impression, but it was still good.

Which song did he do?

Mark Radcliffe is in a band called The Family Mahone, I've not seen them so I don't know what they are like.
