Yep, Ireland signed off from Landsdowne with another good performance. Paddy Wallace played well once he settled and Boss was excellent when he came on.

I was at the Aussie match and it was one of the best games I have been at for years. It is great that we expect to beat the 'big' teams now. If we can keep it up for 12 months...

I agree with all the comments about football. I watched most of the Utd - Chelski game after the rugby yesterday and it just out me in bad humour. All the diving, etc. Girvan Dempsey got knocked out cold in the rugby, got up and played on.

Yep, Paddy Wallace looked really good for most of the match, good back-up for O'Gara. And I like the look of Boss, too. Though the firehazard girls have started shouting "Broooce" every time he gets the ball.

Ireland are looking very good. Just wish they had the chance to play the All Blacks this autumn. That's a match I'd love to see.

Where did London Irish play before they starting playing at Reading?

They used to play in Sunbury. I covered matches there a couple of times when they were playing West country clubs.

I went to watch our local side Orrell down there several years ago and i cant think who they played.

Um, not sure. London Welsh play in south London at Old Deer Park (renamed by a colleague of mine when their fortunes started to fade in the 1980s as Oh Dear Park). I think that's Richmond/Kew area.

Haven't been to that one, I don't think. At one point I seemed to be spending all my Saturdays on the M4 going to London grounds

My embarrassing one was going to Wakefield some years back when they were playing Gloucester in the then Pilkington Cup and asking for directions to the rugby ground. Not surprisingly I got sent to the rugby league ground.
