New cover band Poguetraders in town

Post Fri Oct 27, 2006 11:44 am

Hi, just to let everybody know that I have recently seen a new Pogues cover band in London. They are called the Poguetraders. They performed at the Cube & Star London in September. It was their first gig apparently, which they carried off quite well. I have been keeping up to date with them through their website, and they have just recruited an accordion player.

They have another gig in December at the same venue. I'm definately going myself.

Visit their website http://www.poguetraders.co.uk for more info

Thanks

Anyway Im better than christie because I actually sing the songs instead of just lamely talking through them, its not passion its just outright laziness to think the words are strong enough to a song without a melody.
