You know, it might sound terrible, but that is one thing that Im looking forward to. Given the cost of the tickets, I sense that the crowd will be a bit on the older/mature side. And thats just fine, because I want enthusiasm, not a bunch of kids that cant control themselves (please excuse the cynicism, its just that the past few shows Ive been to were almost ruined by kids who got too drunk, and didnt know how to control themselves).

I have to tell you that Bryan's description of our throng is not entirely accurate, containing as it does both the aged but enthusiastic and the youthful and excited. I was just saying to Terry Woods last night, being a Pogue must be a bit like being a parish priest - the average age of the congregation never advances much, but the Priest himself does!
