It there a dentist convention?

Of course not. They're all just presenting their Bids for Mr Mac's minor bridge work.

Well, you are right, but I'll have you know that the day you roll out of there is the start of a dental convention. I found this, here http://www.henryschein.com/dental/addservices/conventions.asp

October 16-20: Las Vegas, NV
ADA Annual Session

Yes, good to see our PR people are on the case.

What's an identitipunk?

Punks who came along after 1976 having picked up all their ideas of what a punk is from tabloid newspapers and bad sitcoms. If you picture a punk rocker now, you're picturing an identipunk, rather than the originals who tried to look as different as possible, or like Johnny Thunders.

Yes, effectively those people who mistook Punk's rallying cry of individual style to be an invitation to wear uniforms.

Im sure there were 'punks' before the actual punk scene of the 70's and im sure there have been many after and still is. Saying the punks of the 70s are the only true punks is just smugness from the people who were around at that time.

fuck isnt it simple enough?
identity-punk
people who base who they are on what they are

"im a punk, therefore im rowdy, angsty, loud, obnoxious, drink ..drugs..sex"

i wasnt saying shane was a "punk"
im saying he took the self-destructive tendencies of the punks to heart

The girl cried out a few times and the old man slept with his mouth wide open and his bad teeth showing.

Its fine being rowdy, angsty, loud and obnoxious during punk gigs, thats what they are there for but if you act like that in everyday life your a stupid cunt.
