They'll scream when I gets the paper bag off my head, OH, they'll scream alright.

Oirish Rover: Yer ON! Line up them gigs, my man - Here comes the "Fintan the Bard-Ass World Tour of Belgrade 2007" bus now!

Metsaen: Cheers, my friend - I'm stoked, and just a little bit scared now. So long as the fan art doesn't involve putting my head on animals bodies in unnatural positions, I'm flattered.

Noel Kenny Thank YOU Sir! I'm touched... just got confirmation of the 2 nights in Grange at the Lodge, so I'll see YOU on the 1st of October. Guitar is coming (I've just sorted the flight insurance out), I'm looking forward to this SO much.

Don't make me come over there and invade you. Consider it a birthday present from one Medusan to another. PM me.

How many woolly sweaters?

Post Thu Aug 10, 2006 10:04 pm

Having listened to Fintan's cd a couple of times, I can now give my score.

On a scale of 1-10 woolly sweaters, it rates 98 Aran jumpers and 4 pure wool Donegal caps.

More irish than the irish. I had visions of serious children in smocks clog dancing in a fusty hall on a barren cliff into which the everlasting Atlantic breakers smash themselves in a glorious suicide.

How kind. Now if I can only get that nonsense in lyric form, steal some archaic melodies from a dying genre, enliven it all with some excellent musicians and I might be on to something. At least my teeth are crap.
