I had an absolute shit day, one of those where everything goes wrong for you, so I was just waiting for the gig to go arseways too but it was pretty fun. The two support acts were rubbish - I've never been to a gig with two supports so when the second lot came on and played a few songs me and my girlfriend looked at each other and said "well i hope this isn't the bastards we've come to see". Luckily not, and the real Flogging Molly were great. Would have liked to have known a few more of their songs but it was still a good laugh. Got asked for ID at the bar which was a bit shite but there you go: life doesn't start till your 18.

Where 'bouts were you Walshy? I was near the front on the right (facing the stage), close enough to go slightly mad but not enough to get killed. Luckily the sides were air conditioned otherwise I probably would have died

Did you take part in the Irish jig afterward? Pure class lol

What else to look forward to... Dublin City Workingman's Band in September, maybe the Dubs and of course The Pogues... bring on the winter!

I think Sonic Boom 6 were the band on before Flogging Molly, from Sweden i think, - I didn't think much of them myself.

Molly were really good though, only the 3rd time I've seen them but the best so far.
