Everyone will be moaning because I haven't sent them the photo! (a selected few.. including Chevron have seen it :D )

Look Bang on THE John.. I have no doubt Philip would love love love to do my party but he has prior enagements on the 16th.. Just a few thousand at Manchester I believe!

Bang ON you think you're so cool don't you? yes.. you do a niffy version of if I should fall.. but making a young girl (me ;) ) ask you three times to play my party is disgusting.

I will ask again.. the final time.. if you say no.. I MEAN IT, I won't ask you again! OK? AND you can forget me getting you gigs at the Beehive or anywhere else for that matter!

Brian, John, whatever your name is.. will you play my party on the 16th of Dec. Deposit can be paid.. venue to be confirmed? YES or NO!?

I saw Mr Dempsey play Cambridge folk Fest last year and was mighty impressed. His studio recordings really dont do him justice. but having seen him live its maybe easier to see where he's coming from. I'd go and watch him again for sure. The Ghosts of Overdoses and Negative Vibes are both great songs.

no, i didnt get myself organised for tickets in time this year sadly, great lineup as well, i'm gutted.

I'd recommend checking out Tom Russell if you havent already, his stuff is superb. http://www.tomrussell.com

Also Emily Barker from the Low Country is playing a set, dont miss her.

I've been away in Finland so only just saw this. Was the trad sesh good? Maybe some other time.

And before you ask MissWalshy, we're talking about "the sesh", not "the sash"- which I know is your favourite song.

Cheers, trashcity, I'm sure I will. And thanks for the recommendations, I'll try to check them out. Tickets sell out quicker every year. You wouldn't believe how long we queued.

I'd love to, but you have to promise you won't play your "Ould Orange Flute".
