At what age Shane started to drink?

One of me band members asked me sth that was very interesting..."When Shane started to drink?"...he heard Shaneo started to drink when he was 5...hes uncle gave hem a bottle of beer and since then Shaneo became great mate with all sorts of booze 8) Is this true?Any other views?

Well, that's what he claims in the Drink ("I was smoking and drinking and gambling before I could hardly talk.") - the question is where the realm of real life ends and the realm of legends begins... :) You can read more about Shane's unorthodox upringing in Act One of the book.
