Shane MacGowan, The Popes & Shane's Mum - Fairytale.

Post Thu Apr 20, 2006 5:54 pm

Following on from the Spancil Hill Link Irish Rover gave hears Fairytale OF New York preformed by Shane, The Popes, Shane's mum and Joey Cashman on Whistle, It's just The Pogues music and them singing.

Notice the mistakes - Threasa coming in to early, Shane coming in to late and Joey playing the whistle - quite a funny little video.

Dirty Old Town with Christy doesn't work anymore. Don't think he updates anymore. Great site all the same.

This is my favourite version of Spancil Hill, they reach a climax when they sing the last verse together.
The FONY is hilarious I think. Especially when Shane seems to fall asleep and misses his cue.

The eyes on him when he notices he's late coming in. Funny.
