Yes, Shane was born in Kent, and spent most of his life so far living in London.

i stand corrected, i really thought he was born in tipp, but is kent in london?

he was just born there(as oim just born in this hell land where oi loive at the moment...oim not sayin' England is hell :lol: )...
so he was born in Kent,on Christmas Day 1957. (hes parents were visiting relatives in England at the toime)...BUT only 3 months later he came back to Eire(Tipperary) and he loived there til age of 6...then back to England...

i cudda swore it said in a drink with.... that he was born in that farmhouse in tipp, though i cudda misinterpretted it

No, he just lived in that farmhouse for part of his childhood. I don't think he ever lived in Kent at all; he just happened to be born there. He has spent the majority of his life in London and went back to Tipp every summer after the family returned to England. It is often quoted that he was born in Ireland. Shane says this is because, in Ireland, they tend to take the place of birth as the place where the parents lived at the time, rather than where the birth actually happened.

judging from hes biography he did live in Kent...at least for a while...

"They moved around a lot with his father's job,living in Kent and several houses in London,but never really settled anywhere."...
