Wouldn't he be a bit too busy managing U2 to invent an online persona though?

Even Shane has taken to telling people that he took 10 years off after leaving the pogues rather than admiting what he was really doing! Good luck with the forum though!

Well oi guess some people moight call me mad dog(or Oirish mad dog  ) but no oim not Paul McGuinness...Ya heard me wrong...oi never said oi loike popes more than pogues...oi said Shaneo created outstanding stuff while working with popes(oi was comparin' Shane's work during hes Pogues and Popes period;of course oi loike Pogues stuff as well 8) )

IrishRover, I must say that I offer you all the luck in the world with your Macgowan Forum. I should say, though maybe it is needless, that I admire your energetic approach to the project as well. I wanted to give....props (does that work?)...where its due and say that DzM and the other moniters have provided and maintained a great MacGowan section here. I have no doubt, however, that this new forum will act as a catalyst for hundreds of new topics one could create or relate to Shane. Oh yeah, and....Oi Oi Oi!!!!!

OI,Thanks cougar :D oim trying to build great place and hope it will work,so any advice and help is very valuable to me...after all the place oi made is pretty big to be maintained by only one man(especially when me work in the band starts to be even more demanding than it is at the moment).
Oi agree with ya...this place here is great...oi wouldn't be here otherwise and mods and admins are doing amazing work.Oi made Shane MacGowan Forum as a place that will be wider and bigger and that will deal with every aspect of Shaneo's work and loife 8)

IrishRover- bearing in mind that Shane is London-Irish (and I know you are trying to preserve the Oirish language), is there any chance of a cocker-ney section on your fora  ?

Shouldn't that read:
"I'm a bit schindler's after drinking too many pints of Winona Ryder"
