Shane + Popes dates

Post Thu Dec 23, 2004 12:35 pm

Is there a list anywhere of gig dates for Shane and the Popes in March 2005? I know they're playing at Shepherd's Bush on St Paddy's Day, they're at Cambridge on 18 March, but where else are they playing?

I bet he's gonna take a long needed rest. He'll have just been off the reuinion tours, then played a St. Patrick's Day concert. I bet he'll be taking a few months off. Just my opinion, juding by his past performances. I'd like to see him do more, but it's unlikely.
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

Thanks for the list of dates. I've got my tickets already for Cambridge - a home gig for once!!! Surely this time nothing can go wrong with the journey??? :?

Tickets available from http://www.cornex.co.uk if anyone's interested.

Any idea where I can book tickets online? There is no reference to Shane/Popes on the Manchester Academy website and Ticketmaster draws a blank too.

Was going to go to one of the Pogues reunion gigs until all my associates had to back out due to that pesky thing known as 'real life'... :P

Shane & The Popes will be appearing at South Parade Pier, Southsea, Hants, England on Saturday 19th March - the nearest Saturday to St. Paddy's Day!

It's a great little venue - just 750 capacity standing, this is going to be a really intimate little gig -  it's gonna be superb!

Tickets on sale from 10 a.m this  Wednesday,  credit card booking welcome online via http://www.wedgewood-rooms.co.uk/orderonline.asp and go to "also booking" on right side of page. . £18.50 advance, subject to additional booking fee (£1 per ticket).

You can also ring  The Wedgewood Rooms Box Office  (023) 9286 3911, or South Parade Pier General Office, (023) 92 732283.
