Shane with Bap Kennedy

I was surprised to notice that no one seems to have mentioned Shane's appearance on Bap Kennedy's amazing record, The Big Picture. On it, Shane sings the last verse of a tune called, "On the Mighty Ocean Alcohol."

For anyone who doesn't know who Bap is, http://www.pandora.com is a great place to check out some of the songs on his new album. Some may know him as the founder of Energy Orchard and brother of Brian Kennedy, but I think his more recent solo work far exceeds both that of Energy Orchard and brother Brian.

The sad thing about pandora.com is that it doesn't seem to have any songs from his other albums-- his first solo record, Domestic Blues, is one of my all-time favourites, and well worth investigating through other means.
