I know somewhat off topic but I just can't get over how different The Pogues look on the IISFFGWG cover to now are you sure they're the same people?

No, the 'live' shows were fronted by carefully constructed droids. Pretty convincing, eh? I got to do servo design work on the feet....

Hmmm. Druid-droids, eh? They'd run on mistletoe oil, I suppose? And the operating system'd have to be real basic, like RoughlyHewnPortalv2.1 (Microsofts earliest product....)

But you don't suspect cunning MODs of constructing them at least, do you?

Yeah I am, they move around the stage in the same way they used to, if you know what I mean.

going by looks, Mr Hunt seems to be the only original member in the current line-up. I'm not entirely sure as the current bass player actually looks about 15, ie younger than the guy from the IISFFGWG cover.

He was 15 when IISFFGWG was made and he's still 15 now- Mr Hunt is a testament to the wonders of cryogenic technology. By midnight tomorrow night he'll be re-frozen, waiting until mid-December when the rest of band thaw him out, ready for the soon to be announced Christmas shows in London. Right, Mr Chevron?

And as Mr C has explained elsewhere, other members of the band are committed to donating their own hair to keep Mr Hunt hirsute.
