Exciting! Thanks. The Dublin after party was great with BP and Shane.

My NYC Death Disco is purchased and I can't wait!

I was trying to sort that out also. I think braving the subway is the only option because you can already write off getting a cab on one of the drunkest nights of the year. And even if you did flag a cab, I'm not sure if they'd be willing to take you to Brooklyn.

subways the cheapest way of getting there....bit of a walk to and from the station though. If theres a few of yis a taxi would be a good bet. you'll get the address directions etc. on their site i believe, which is.....

Taxi would be around $25 from Times Square to Park Slope, Brooklyn-that's where Southpaw is. Taxis will take up to 4 people so thats $25 bucks divided by four. Ask the cab driver to take the Manhattan bridge-Manhattan bridge leads into Flatbush Avenue-take Flatbush avenue to 5th avenue and make a right-Southpaw is a few blocks off of Flatbush on Fifth ave.

After Southpaw:You may want to do some research and get a number for a car service because its difficult to flag a taxi in Brooklyn and you probably don't want to walk to a subway and get on the late and there's sometimes service disruptions at that late hour also.

Hope this helps any out of towners!!

Something tells me that I won't be able to keep up with Shane's hectic schedule and that I shouldn't even try. With two little ones I'm usually wiped out and in bed by 10:30. The concerts and the pubs might be enough for me.

I'll have to agree with you on that one Neil, but I'd like hear some reports from those so adventurous enough to even attempt this late night romp!

Cheers. We all should have great stories to tell in a few weeks time. I enjoyed your first travel post and look forward to future installments. Ooodles of good wishes to you and your wife. To say you are deserving of this holiday would be a tremendous understatement.
