Several years ago, when he and the Popes were touring in the US, he was drinking gin-and-tonics onstage. I know this because at the end of the show, one of the roadies came out and handed me the half-emptied cup from which Shane had been drinking.

And yeah, I drank from it. And passed it around.

Shane's favourite onstage tipple is likely to be the same as mine.....anything wet. And strong. So gin's good, but I prefer Black Bush. :wink:

I wouldn't've drunk it if I'd had reason to believe it was pee. Or if it had cigarette butts disintegratin' in it.

Short of either o' those, yeah, I'd've pro'ly tasted it whatever it had been. :wink:

What we SAID was....LIVER is bad in whiskey...in fact liver usually tastes like shite no amtter WHAT sauce ye cooks it in....wine, cream, whiskey, brandy.... how could something made from Johnny Barleycorn and water be bad fer ye?
