Family Mahone are Mark Radcliffe (of Radio ! Mark and Lard fame) his band.I saw them supporting Shane And the Popes on Paddy day couple years ago at Shepherds Bush. And they were brilliant.Lots of drinking songs.Mark himself playing the skiffle drum at the frnt and singing

The Family Mahone opened the Cambridge folk fest last year, and I'd agree with duncan, they're a brilliant live act. I think Mark Radcliffe introduced every song by saying, "This is a drinking song..." :)

How about trying their website? ;) There are couple tracks in the Sounds and Pictures section. (Though hardly the best ones.)
And yep, FM are great - even when playing "non-live", only from the loudspeakers. :)

You poor sod, working on a Saturday, I feel so sorry for you.

As you said Zuzana, not their best (not that I've heard any of their stuff).
