Nah I don't believe that. Women's world cup okay. But that's always one by women who look like men (either American or German  ) but men's football is war! It's real men. It's a bit like American football: in Europe we call it rugby and we don't wear all that protection so we know we are real men

Women who look like men, eh????!!!! :o Well I just looked at the Dutch team and I think they look like women.... and that was your men's team. :P (I know pretty lame, but what do you expect? ) Anyway, If we can get past the Czek and Italian teams I think we will have done well. Personally, I want to see Germany-France, for no other reason than the historical irony. As for our football being compared to rugby, there is no comparison. I would far more love to watch rugby than our stop and go crunch and fall over game. That said, I'm looking forward to the Six Nations coming up in a couple weeks. I'm scouting out the sports bars looking for the best place to watch. I like watching Scotland vs. Ireland. Also, the whole thing being capped off with England vs. Ireland is brilliant. :D

Yup I know they are a bunch of lousy players who are overrated, that why I hardly ever support them.

That and my generally irritating and abrasive personality!
See, I even tried to be nice but you clearly hate me and wish death upon all my friends and family, and pets.

Nope, you have me all wrong. I like scousers, I just like winding them up about football. They do it to me, I do it back - it's mostly good humoured.

I cheered Liverpool on in the Champions league last season and will do so again this year now we're disinterested bystanders. I'd never do that for Chelsea or Asrsenal.

It has to be said that the real liverpool fans ( you know the ones - actually go to the game) I've spoken to this week don't have a problem with players for whom playing for their club actually means something. I'd rather have Gerard, Carragher, Neville and the like than no-marks like Ferdinand and Kewell who just take our money and worry about their hairstyle.

I wish death upon no man or animal unless Thatcher fits either of those categories. I just can't bring myself to forgive her for screwing my country.

Yeah i completely agree soulfinger, its players who actually want to play for the club and the cause that are the good footballers.

Oh and i also have to add that i think its a great thing you cheered on Liverpool in the Champions League final last year but that you wouldn't have done the same for Chelsea or Arsenal.

Does it count that I play it with pupils because there are no teams I can join over here?

Hey Liverpool, Don't sweat dutchie. I think some things just get lost in translation. But the football pitch isn't such a bad way to spend your time. Keeps ya outta trouble. From a parent's perspective it beats sniffing glue all day.
