Nothing Will Ferrel has ever done has been funny or otherwise engaging. He has less talent than Jim Carrey.

I'm with DzM on this one. I fell asleep at the Cinema last Xmas eve watching Elf. Completely laugh free. The kids agreed.

This is page 2 of the John McCormack thread isn't it? And I was wondering how we got to 50 cent so quickly...........

Like Jerry Lewis, Jim Carrey will eventually be rediscovered for the comic genius he is. Only this time, people will have got it right!!! :D

My God I do not like Jerry Lewis (I hear he is beloved in France).... or the Three Stooges for that matter. For some reason there is a myth that all American men grew up liking the Three Stooges. Can't stand em. Now the Marx Brothers -- that's genius. 8)

And who exactly is the guy this thread was started about?

John McCormack (Tenor)

Born: June 14, 1884 - Athlone, Ireland
Died: September 16, 1945 - “Glena”, Booterstown, Country Dublin, Ireland

Not dead, huh? Or do you mean he lives on in spirit??? All the kids in our family grew up singing John McCormack/Percy French but that was decades ago - he must be dead!
