But it's haaard to invent new people-in-underwear-save-Earth-by-punching-other-people-wearing-underwear characters. Will THIS one be able to be invisible? Will THIS was have giant breasts? Will THIS one have unresolved dad-issues? So many choices.

Controversial take but hear me out: maybe the underwear needs to be the first thing to go. <Marvel execs heads explode>

Superheroes going commando? Now that is controversial.

Uuuuuhn.
Are all the characters singing the same song throughout?
I think they are.

Was multitasking.

Feels like what High School Musical must be like, I guess.

Michelle Williams’ understudy covered for her when I went to see Cabaret once.
I’m good with that having heard her in this.

Makes me want to see Wolverine man in the movie about Liza’s husband Peter Allen instead.

Apparently the role was written for Wolverine man which explains how Ewan McGregor fails to show up in this atrocity. Coulda’, shoulda’, woulda’.

Just saw a Herbie parked on the street.

This picture gives me angst!

Was reading about the Paradise Palms area of Las Vegas recently. Buddy Hackett lived around there courtesy of his Casino boss. Jerry Lewis, Debbie Reynolds, Phyllis Diller, Jethro Bodine (forgive me), Rip Taylor, etc, etc. had houses there.

Lewis’ house was hideous from outside and appears on Comedians Getting Coffee Yadda,Yadda.

The campiness of the celebrities merely adds to the aura, I think.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Palms

It was like 108 when I was last there so I didn’t go myself...

Apparently Redd Foxx’s house (elsewhere) in Vegas is now a realty office but their sign is marked to note his former ownership.

Have no interest in celebrity homes other than these (and other) time capsule ones.

Guns Akimbo (2019).

Youngest was tired from her vaccination and wanted to watch something dumb. This certainly fit the bill.

The bit about him keeping ice and proper glasses in his desk drawer (to make greyhounds) at Marquette University impressed me.

Last week I was board and, rather than spent time fixing the photo gallery, I ended up re-watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Porky's.

These are both terrible films. Do not watch them. Learn from my mistakes.

Porky’s is obviously a piece of crapola but you have got to be kidding about Fast Times.

Once waited behind Taylor Negron at Babette Schwartz in my totally Gay! neighborhood. He’s the pizza delivery guy in the scene where Mr. Hand gives away Spicioli’s pizza. His cousin, apparently, is the former singer of Three Dog Night that said his penis exploded. Can’t make this shit up.

Image

The best parts of Fast Times are the brother saying he’s gonna kick 100% of the customers ass, stopping the robbery at 7-11, the Pat Benatar wanna-bes, the two red haired twins at H. Salt,

Image

Forest fucking Whitaker,
Image
and Spicoli spending all his money on a private Van Halen concert.

The characters depicted in the movie remind me of my older siblings friends who were always robbing vending machines and walking to the liquor store to get Bacardi. 8)

Image

It was based on experiences in Clairemont Mesa, CA but filmed in L.A.
Clairemont Mesa is ugly as hell, I worked at a site there for one day and said... fuck this.

Clairemont Mesa was the kind of place that you could get into a fight with psychos from Sam Kinison’s (sans Kinison) entourage and win, LOL.

It’s close enough to SDSU and Pacific Beach and is full of ugly apartment buildings and houses. Chock full. Close enough to the beach but worlds away.

Stereo stores, square pizza at the mall, ticket scalpers... I guess you had to be there.

I DON’T KNOW how anyone could call that movie terrible.

Image

Any movie with Nicholas Cage in it has to be good.

Don’t even start on Clerks.

Started watching The Temptations miniseries (@ mark when they’re firing David Ruffin) when I saw it was on live last night.

I guess I saw Jurassic Park when it came out, I remember the birdy ones in the lab, I guess.

The first Jurassic Park slots paid out big time. They’re gone now, for the most part.

Oh god, oh god, oh god.

Pet Sematary, 28 Days Later or this is all I can stand. There is no way I can watch a movie called Hostel.

Or the one where the guy from Career Opportunities works at a motel. Frank Whaley. Vacancy?

Or the one with bugs in it...

Oh god.

Certainly not the one where the guy sews everyone together mouth to ass. :|
