Nice one, sf! Beautiful part of the country too. Trying not to be jealous. Failing. 8)

Might-maybe-be going to Yosemite for a week or so in June. Maybe.

Hope that works out for you, it sounds excellent.

Mme fh and I may, possibly, have a weekend at the coast in September. And youngest hazardette may, perhaps, finally be able to have her wedding in July. Just maybe.

The Lovely Mrs. DzM and I are spending four or five days this week around Yosemite Park. Staying in a rustic cabin (more of "old shed built in the 1940s" rather than "scenic log cabin" that you might be imagining) just off a river in the Wawona area). Brought bicycles and plan to go pedaling around the valley floor after the weekend, etc.

Nice to get out of the house for something other than grocery shopping.

Weird. I HAVE been working on my manifesto. That's a thing normal people do, right?

We have a perfectly decent old shed available for use here. Actually it leaks and some of the wood is rotten. And a bit of the roof blew off in the wind a few weeks ago. And it needs totally clearing out of all the old crap that we've "stored" in it over the last 20+ years. And you might have to cut the grass first to get to it, because the grass is about up to your arse now since the guy who's supposed to come and mow it went missing again. But hey, it's a shed.

Enjoy Yosemite. 8)

Counting down the days.

Idaho was.... interesting.

I can't wait to be in a metropolitan city again. Went to Seattle a couple of weeks ago and was so happy to see a freaking light rail and multicultural neighborhoods.

Idaho does have cheap electricity though, so they've got that going for them.

And it was a cakewalk getting vaccinated here amongst all the deniers.

Enjoy your vacation.
