Now that's a theory...

Though, of course, The Wombles have far more credibility than Mumford & Sons. Apologies for previous post suggesting otherwise.

I see you're settling into your new state well. Won't be long now until you're making cocktails from 'Tussen and Red Bull.

I once collected all the fixings for sizzurp after getting prescribed codeine cough medicine for bronchitis. Got the doubled styrofoam cups, Jolly Ranchers and Sprite. When it came time to pour the cough medicine over ice I said “Fuck this shit!” The thing is, they don’t really prescribe the sought after grape cough medicine too much (because of sizzurp) and cherry was revolting.

I leave it to the kids.

Like snorting crushed (American) Smarties.

Not to be confused with the UK ones that are like M&M’s.

The kids get nasal maggots though. Seriously.

Well, it's pretty though. Just have to overlook the fact that it's the Alabama of the NW.

From the pic, those look more like what over here are called Refreshers (or they used to be, back in the day, maybe still are), I'm not up to date with current kids' confectionery matters. Or anything else.

They are called "Rockets" here, and basically taste like chalk. You also see 'em made by SweeTarts, those ones actually have flavour and are my guilty pleasure to steal from the kids' Halloween treat bags (which I don't get to do anymore, damint. Need some grandkids).

Looking at the pic again, Refreshers were/are more dayglo. Those are comparatively pastel coloured. Refreshers had a bit of a kick.

Kids cut / crush them up and snort them up their noses these days.
No worse than the stuff we snorted up our noses, I’m thinking.

SweeTarts are the best.
Who needs tooth enamel anyways?
They make your tongue bleed so they’ve got to be good.
I have the Easter ones. Mmmmm.

I have some Tart & Tiny’s and Wacky Wafers at the moment.

Wacky Wafers go for about $4 a pack since going back on production.

The British candy I tried and was “What the fuck is this crap?” were the pastel UFO disc things with the candy balls inside.
G-ross.

I have some Key Lime Pie M&M’s around somewhere that I bought because I know they’re gonna be disgusting. 8)

Candy, candy, candy, candy!!!

Lemonheads are the best, but I have spent too much money on my teeth to break ‘em off with those delicious, yellow, shellacked balls of corn syrup. Mmmmm, shellac.

Ted Nugent, who recently made the news as a COVID-19 denier (rambling on about why did we never hear anything about COVIDs 1 through 18) has... wait for it... tested positive for COVID-19.

I'm sure I join the rest of you with crossed fingers hoping for the best outcome.

Living in a rabid denier state I cake walked to my vaccination appointments.

My relatives in other states had to be very diligent to get their second shots when the system was sputtering.

My state never notified me of any nearby availability, despite signing up via work and on my own.

Got signed up the Wed after a drugstore chain began that Monday. Appointments all over the place.

They didn't even give me trouble for an out of state ID, luckily I'd gotten a flu vaccination from them a few months earlier.

It'll be nice to see family again, after a year. :)

Didn't Sarah Palin contract it too?
That leaves Kid Rock from that trifecta of weirdos.
