RNR Hall of Fame

Apparently the fan vote result will counts as a ballot.

Vote here:https://www.rockhall.com/fanvote/

Stevie Nicks is a Landslide.
Let the coked up witch in.

MC5 and Rufus/Chaka Khan are at the bottom. :(

Fuckin' Def Leppard are number two in fan votes.

The Cure is third. They better induct 'em.

The footage of Dee Dee Ramone showing up at the Ramones induction is depressing as hell. Where Red Hot Chili Pepper assholes are treated better than him.

I wonder if The Cure would accept.

Stevie Nicks will be there with bells on. :)

Everybody wins if Bono, Paul McCartney, J.Timberlake, the Foo Fighters guy (the American Bono) and Eddie Vedder stay off the performance stage.

Don’t worry, slowly but inexorably everybody will get in there. Even those who don’t want to. And when every supposedly-rock-ish artist ever is inducted they’ll begin to induct roadies, instruments and fans. The latter against payment of a very fair fee, obviously.

As for induction ceremonies... just wait...

In other news: Water still wet. Desert still dry. Space still airless.

I actually think the randomness this year is interesting.

MC5, Cure, Chaka/Rufus, Janet Jackson (a'la Liz Taylor) and even Stevie Nicks. She should get in for being such a coke whore, alone.

They should have Ronnie Spector speak on Miss Jackson's behalf.

That would be an interesting all-artist finale, for sure. Up there with Alice Cooper (the band) with Darlene Love & Neil Diamond performing "The Do-Ron-Ron" in their induction year.

Now that they give the fans the vote to induct members, I would love the chance to vote out people already elected! Similar to the Pogues album/song game we had years ago.
