I know of two locally, The Rogues (from Dundalk area) and The Boys From The County Hell (from the Drogheda area) both are bloody brilliant. :) Not sure if either have a website.

I was once in a pub in brighton where a 5 piece band were playing.a set which pretty much entirely consisted of pogues covers. their versions were ok, but theitr name was really something special.

LIVERDANCE.

Seen The Bhoys From The County Hell last night here in Drogheda, decent band. I thought the Rogues were better when I seen them though.

Next Wednesday we're starting to practise in one of the best music studios here. Our first plan is to have some gig in spring toime...and in toime we could become the greatest Oirish punk rock band in southeastern Europe 8) We'll be tribute for Shane MacGowan(mainly the stuff hes done with Popes but also stuff of Pogues,traditionals...)Oi've invested lots of efforts in creating this band and me hopes are very high!
