Prayers for the victims. Hope no family members of Medusans were there. I just reached out to a cousin who lives in Manchester, worried because he has an eleven year old daughter.

Update- Luckily my little cousin isn't a fan and wasn't there. Death toll up to 22 dead.

So now, another rite of passage, going to concerts is no longer safe. Especially evil that they targeted a concert where the majority of the attendees were young girls.

A new tactic-don't bother with pre-concert security (which was by all accounts, well done). Wait until people start to leave and then attack.

Security at the MEN is always very tight, but show me one concert venue that isn't bedlam when the show is over. Given the steep stairs at the arena, it's a miracle kids didn't die in the crush as well. Targeting a kid orientated concert and packing your bomb with nuts and bolts....I hope the bastard spends eternity in agony.

It is incredibly frustrating. At the soccer game in France-they just hit the areas before the entrance. In Turkey, at the airports, they hit an area before you pass security. At any airport, while there is tons of security in the departure area, there isn't much at baggage claim-tons of people leaving with bags-easy target.

They are looking for soft targets and unfortunately are finding plenty of them.

Like the issue of psychopaths who are driving trucks into crowds, there's eventually only so much can be done to prevent attacks on civilians. At the end of the day, we mostly live in cities and can eventually be found in large groups somewhere, sometime. So long as someone had the will to carry out these unspeakable acts, we are ultimately all vulnerable.

My heart goes out, as always, to all the victims and their families.

I agree 100%. Why after these events are they so quick to identify the suspect and collaborators? How come travel is allowed to ISIS infested countries?
If these people are "refugees" why are they allowed to travel back to the Middle East or wherever? This has happened with the Boston Marathon bomber, the San Bernadino Shooter, and many of the perps of the French atrocities. Our leaders are too worried about being pc.

The Police know who they are but can't arrest them unless they do something. Too late then.

There was a very unpopular solution to this which targeted the Irish in the 70's and 80's. It was called Internment. The cops could pick up anyone they fancy, put them in jail with no trial or hard evidence and leave them there indefinitely.
