I know its months away from the cricket season and we have the 6 Nations to get through first but: Mark Wallace: Glamorgan wicketkeeper retires, well good luck in his new post with the Professional Cricketers Association, a great wicketkeeper who I always thought should of had a 1 day cap for England and a Glamorgan man to the core.

Start of the county season today, always get that feeling of excitement. Wish I was there!

Essex starting off against Lancs today.
Hope Glam have a decent season, Aled.

Bad start for Glam. :(

Essex were unexpectedly saved by an impressive century by 19-year-old Dan Lawrence, held the whole 2nd innings together and they batted all through the last day.

You may be right there. According to some who were there on the day, some of the Lancs tactics on the last day were "surprising"...

Yep I know the feeling well, when you love a team unconditionally and they just keep letting you down...(Wales rugby on more than 1 occasion, Welsh football until 2016, at the moment, Glamorgan CCC & Swansea AFC!)

Yes, looks as if it was very tight - though I was in Spain and so missed it!
