Well done to both of them. It takes guts, as well as empathy, to intervene like that. They did the right thing, and can rightly be proud of that.

This was a bit torrent site for the sharing of music. I know most of us here like to support our favourite bands, but one thing i liked about what.cd was that it was a huge repository of obscure, out-of-print albums and/or particular editions, masters, or mixes of albums. It's where i was sharing the entire Willie P. Bennett catalogue, and where i was going to upload my recently acquired Agnes Bernelle vinyl. Sigh.

I think the time for bit torrent is passing, tho, as everything is streaming these days. It's a shame though, as the site was more complete and easier to use than iTunes or Amazon or anything else is likely to be, until global copyright is finally sorted out! I mean, if i want a lossless rip of the Japanese vinyl edition of Aladdin Sane, why won't RCA sell it to me, damnit?!

When she got back home, she reported that there was nobody about except a skinhead with a large wolf-like dog, which was having a shit in the middle of the road (shit wasn't the word she used, she's far too refined for that). It started raining.

This, we thought, is what the world will be like in 2017. Wolf-like dogs will shit in the road.
