Hello Pogues fans! I have a very exciting piece of memorabilia for sale. My name's Niamh and I'm a medical student currently fundraising for the Billy Riordan Memorial Clinic in Malawi, which was set up by an Irish woman, Mags Riordan, in memory of her son Billy who died tragically in Lake Malawi in 1999. This summer I'm heading over to volunteer in the clinic and I'm determined to bring some much needed funds with me. More info about the clinic can be found on http://www.billysmalawiproject.org. Terry Woods is a family friend, and has kindly donated a signed BPI Silver Disc for Rum Sodomy and the Lash from his personal collection, in support of the clinic. I have some photos of Terry donating the award to me, and of the award itself if anyone is interested. It's a wonderful and unique piece of memorabilia and a fanastic cause - a win-win all around. This seems like an excellent charity and an exciting piece of memorabilia for fans. I'd recommend that you create an eBay auction for it and let the Pogues page on Facebook also know about it. This will give you the widest possible audience for your item, and give you an easy place to share photos, etc of the item.
