Summer Music camps in ireland?

Post Sun Dec 27, 2015 7:17 pm

My talented fiddle-playing daughter is headed back to a music program as part of the Aberdeen Youth Festival, and we figure this time we'll get her over to Ireland to visit family and hopefully get some more music.

She'll be late July/Early August, too late for the Willie Clancy Summer School in Clare, does anybody have any suggestions? Or know any good teachers, esp women? As well as fiddle, dance & language are of interest.

And were definitely probably preferring not a full camp - as that's what she's up to in Aberdeen, with 12-15 hour days, so workshops or a few lessons with a great teacher are actually ideal.
