Rest in peace, Mr C. You are still much loved and much missed.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

I can't believe it's been 2 years. Time doesn't half fly.

I think about you every day and will always miss you but I have taken a lot of inspiration from you which gets me through and gives me the strength to carry on with things that I would normally have given up on.

You will always live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew and loved you.

As others have said, sorely missed but well remembered, especially on the Raft.

Also, I noticed there was a link to his gravesite earlier in this topic-can any Dubliner repost a picture with the name engraved?

Memories of Philip, where does one begin? One that immediately springs to mind was back in May 1988,in the hotel bar in Geleen Holland. It was after Pinkpop and Chevy was telling me he had recently auditioned for a part in a film in which he had to speak with a West Midlands/Brummie accent and Philip, bless him tired to speak his lines in the style of yours truly! Needless to say Philip did not get the part and i can't remember what the title of the film was, just as well i didnt forge a creer as a voice coach!God bless you Philip.

Muchly missed indeed. Cheers, sir.

Funny that.
I couldn't bring myself to stand in front of Philip, screaming my head off, after becoming aquainted here. So, I'd plant myself square in the middle, just to the right of Philip's fan club.

I really miss just shooting the shit with Philip about any inane subject. Or going over each and every possible NYC theatre choice before purchasing tickets. Talk about having an expert opinion at the ready.

What a lovely, brilliant man. 8)

Remembered for so many reasons, but not the least of which was his snappy outfits. Seriously, who else could mix stripes and paisleys and rock it?

What's that, throw a polka-dot cravat into the mix? Don't mind if I do:

A look so good, somebody has cartooned it:

There's a brilliant photo of him pulling a funny face at someone in the audience at one of the later shows which always makes me smile.

Unfortunately I can't find it now.

Just happened to be on flickr looking at Hotel Carter pics and I didn't see the one you speak of, but this one is amazing...

I think the one I'm after is from the time when he was wearing a kilt.

It is a nice photo though.
