Future of the Pogues

Well, it looks like all the scheduled concerts are over. Obviously, with Mr. Chevron gone, it is harder to get information.
They have said in the past that the structured touring days are over-UK Xmas and US St. Patricks (aka St. Jimmy's) and it looks like that is right.
Right now, we haven't heard a thing about Daryl's status, nothing on FB or Twitter (James, Spider or Jem's). Not sure if the mystery guitar player is James W this summer.

I asked James about touring the US, but he mentioned it was very difficult for Shane. Is this the end again?

Mr Walbourne was the guitarist for the French gig. He missed most (if not all) of the other gigs because he was touring as part of The Rails. Who are pretty brilliant, actually... The Pogues performed without a guitarist for some of the summer gigs when he was missing.

Still no idea who the mystery bass-player for the French gig was.

I suppose Shane is too unwell at the moment, just a guess but it certainly looks a lot like it. I sincerely hope he can recover enough to record that new album (supposing that the rumours weren't a lot of rubbish). I wish him the best.

Well, usually the East Coast US St. Jimmy's Day tours are announced by now, so I guess they are out.
My raftmates across the ocean would know more about any festivals for the summer in Europe.
One thing I have learned is to never count them out!

James did say touring "in the States" was difficult for Shane. I interpreted that to mean the possibility for playing gigs local to the UK still wide open.
If I was a betting man I'd expect some festival dates and a return to Christmas shows in 2015.

Also, I posted somewhere who the mystery bassist was but I'll be damned I can't locate it. I'll repost once I find it.
