Banquet Records had a few online the other day at £29.99 but checking now, it looks like they've all gone.

I've got one though *smug smile*

My copy that I got off Ebay, arrived this morning while I was at work. The email saying it had been despatched arrived at 1.35pm BST.

Are you not supposed to get the email notification before the item? :?

Just picked this up myself today at the Halifax Record Fair. A co-worker told me about it the other day as I hadn't been on the home page in a while and didn't know.

They arrived to my local records shops post-Record Store Day, so there are still a couple copies kicking around.

So far I'm on side 2, Gartloney Rats.

It's just a little unfortunate though due to the time period, that it's heavy on Peace & Love and Hell's Ditch material

Glad to have it nonetheless.

I listened to it last night. It's a lovely album but I have a few comments of my own to share with you.

I find that because it is an analogue to digital recording it lacks presence, not all the time, some songs sound great on it. Also I don't know if my copy is a little sticky but Fiesta sounded really strange compared to other recordings I have of it. The track starting buzzing and wavering in and out. We thought at the time it was the stylus as it's not been changed for a while but it went back to normal when the next track came on. Maybe it will be better on second listen.

Apart from those things I think that it was money well spent and I recommend every fan tries to get hold of a copy. It was nice to hear (probably) one of the first recordings of Philip singing 1000's. I had tears in my eyes just listening to it. I don't usually cry to 1000's, although I did when he dedicated it to me in 2006.

There were songs that suited Joe and songs that didn't and I much prefer Shane singing them, but all in all a very unique and special thing to have in any Pogues fans record collection. The red vinyl is truly beautiful.

Yeah, a great rendition of 1000s by Phil, a timely release.

We're doing GOT, Vice then Clash with home made pizza. By the way, I got my red vinyl and it looks awesome, have not had a chance to throw it on the turntable yet. Maybe tomorrow.
