Not quite the buzz around on here that there used to be pre Pogues tour is there?!
5 years ago this place would have been rocking with people talking about meeting up, boozers, trains, planes and so on.
Time moves on eh? shame....

Car on Thursday? I´m sure you can find a quiet parking lot where you can sleep

No, sleeping drunk in a car park once is enough. I woke up bloody freezing. It's not the safest either

Facefuckingbook may well have taken a lot from this raft but i'd be on other forum (motorbikes) and it's flourishing to the point where in January i'll have to pay £15 a year to partake

Ack, yer just doing it wrong. Make sure the tank is full of gas, leave it on "idle" with the heat turned on, and make sure the emergency/parking break is on so when you bump the gear shift with your elbow in your sleep ...

Medusa may well be one of the last refuges for us old facespace-resisters (though I have to admit I've finally been dragged into tweetworld), but we treasure it all the same. Though I'm sure we all are deeply missing our beloved Mr C's presence on this raft.
The cricket team I support recently shut down their official forum, mainly because they got fed up with everyone telling them how carp they were. A few of us have restarted with an unofficial board, but have suddenly realised that we need finances to sustain this.Low D wrote:...

And get arrested for being drunk in charge of a vehicle, in this country at least. Even though you're not actually driving it. It used to be the case, anyway. I got told off (though let off with a lecture) by an officer of the fine local police force for sleeping off a hangover in the car in my younger days, when I'd got in it early one morning after a heavy session the night before and then realised that as I couldn't actually see I was probably not in a fit state to drive. Is that still the law here?
