More Pogues gigs! This is the best news I've had in nearly 3 years. And even better that I live near London now, can catch you in the city where it all began.

I read the dates this morning. Looks like it's going to have to be Manchester for me. We will not be able to stay over though as Jake will have to work the next day although I may be able to book the day after off. Not sure about that yet and I'm not going to ask until nearer the time because Jake and I are both off work for two weeks from next week and it wouldn't be right to turn round and ask for it this week.

All I need to find out is what time the last train or coach back to Liverpool is on a Sunday night. Last time we came back from Manchester after a Pogues gig in 2001, the last train was ridiculously early so we got the coach and we only just made that. Hopefully the service has improved a bit by now (but I'm not banking on it).

The admin on The Pogues Facebook page confirmed that this is it, so I assume there won't be any dates added.

Sadly there won't be any Irish gigs and i cant travel, but this band don't owe me anything and have left me with plenty of glorious memories.

Though I totally don't get central time and have been known to freak out about being late anywhere around Pittsburgh.
Luckily Chicago always fixes that.
