Spent the few hours before the gig drinking with Mark Wafc, first time we'd met in person despite plenty of conversations on here and twitter. Sound lad as I knew he would be. Headed to the gig where we made the decision to bely my years at least + aim for the front. Two sweaty hours later I was minus my wallet with all cards, train ticket back to Manchester the following day, ID. Oh well. Not to worry as the gig was more than worth it in every way. I was lucky enough to have been in Paris and this was just as good. There were the usual 'God look at him' from those who don't get the fact that The Pogues are for life and not just for Christmas. Amazingly bumped into an old school mate down the front who I hadn't seen for 20-odd years. Highlights for me were Dirty Old Town, Fairytale and Repeal (it's different for that one down the front!!!) If there are no more for a while I think with this show and Paris they've gone out on a high. First gig was as a fresh faced 16 year old back in 87. Fast forward to 2012 and I'm glad I chose this band to follow. So many amazing memories. So many amazing songs. So many amazing gigs. Here's hoping to many more. Merry Christmas one and all.

As always , lovely to see you all again and meet new friends as well . Happy to report that I did manage to stay on the rail throughout the night. The show , FANTASTIC , as I knew it would be !! As a rule, I don't drink anymore. After a year of dull sobriety I let myself go, boy did I let myself go. I gave up drinking because I embarrassed myself once to often, it shames me that I spent the gig being held up by my younger brother. The bits I remember were good, but I could have been at a One Direction gig for the difference it makes. I'm sorry if I stood on your foot. Well, not that sorry.

Fantastic gig which I'd put in the top five I've seen since the reunion. Trains from Liverpool to the Smoke where delayed due to flooding but still made it with time to spare for a couple of britneys. I agree with the comments about the venue to a degree and the comments about 'Oh look at Shane' which you get at most Pogues gigs I suppose. Funny though I never heard it once at the New York show

Best line by Shane - "Spidey Stacy, teacher's pet". Fantastic concert, somebody from the Guardian suggested Shane wasn't great. I'd be the first one to say the same thing - if it were true. Not true. Here's to a spring tour of Alaska!!! Too expensive to go to London, better to have them come to me.

I saw an interview with Phil where he spoke about the bands wide age span of support.

I was at the gig with my Dad (85) & we were standing. There can't have been many older!

And also had a ticket for my son (though a knee injury prevented attendance) - so spanned 3 generations.
