Good to hear Terry take up the vocal spot when Shane had issues with his mic. during the Pogues set.

Terry sang "Young Ned Of The Hill" as scheduled.

I thought Terry had given up lead vocals on doctors orders. Thought I heard Shane say something along the lines of sic"..I"ll give you back to Spider ..this mic is fucked.."Before Terry took up the lead vocal. That a side I really enjoyed Terrys vocal. Sorry if I gave wrong impression.

Terry did have a condition that required him to stop singing. Fortunately, unlike myself, he has now overcome that. Shane's confusion before "Ned" had to do with, as so often, the set list.

Thanks to all for a great festivial.
The Pogues were great.Shane looked happy in the dark.Spider looked cool.Terry sang well and played like the legend he is.Sadly missed Philips singing but he played very well.Too dark to see his dancing. Some how Thousands has become a highlight of the live set that will be sadly missed . Hope health improves.Enjoyed the camp fire set by the all star backing band of Kitty Finer.Thats what makes festivals.Feck the mud.Mermaid ale went down well.No signs of famine as food was a plenty .

Just read the new issue of Uncut with Joe Strummer on cover. Nice bit about his time with the Pogues, also a bit with Phil Chevron (the guitarist) that is enjoyable; would've loved more space for that (obviously as a Pogues fan first, then Joe Strummer).

Actually, there's been an issue since (Nick Cave cover) in which my meandering thoughts on The Dubliners can also be located.
