Hahaha, yeah that's the Brotherhood of The Medusa, I guess!!! (or perhaps Sisterhood, delete as applicable...)

Can't say I've ever noticed another Medusan bidding against me, but as I say most of the stuff I buy is the cheap stuff around the 1-3 pound mark. I'm currently trying to collect all the Pogues 7" singles (and everything else as well, to be honest!!). I love vinyl, and 7's in particular. I've no intention of playing them much, if at all, I just like the look and the feel of them... oh my God I've just realised... I'm an ANORAK!!

I just remembered, I picked up the 3" CD single of Yeah Yeah (etc) a short while back, not particularly rare but an unusual little thing... (I've never played that either).

Heh heh, yeah, I guessed as much. I hope you've given it pride of place on a very prominent wall somewhere!

Haha you know, ive got if for over a year now and still it's in the corner of my room  . I'm waiting when I have a house on my own and then I'll make a Pogues wall with all of the records in a huge frame and the gold one in the middle

Brilliant idea !

I once had a few Pogues picture discs at my wall, including those special shaped singles "A pair of brown eyes" (Ireland shape) and "Sally MacLennane" (wheel-barrow shape). Those look particularly well.

Well even if it's a copy, it's still a thing of beauty, for sure!

I know what you mean! Usually I just sell but then I see things and think - go on then. And then suddenly all these packages drop through the door and my bank balance takes a hammering. It's addictive - but I have picked up some real bargains on there ... I think. It's been great for clearign out my hourse though.

Wow, if the vinyl is going for that much then I wonder how much my original version on cassette is worth?
