His aspyness is charming. The thing that keeps me from watching that show regularly are all the characters that I don't care about. More Sheldon Cooper and his girlfriend, please. Whatever Bialik's character's name is...
Jim Parsons attended USD which might have made a difference to my relative who turned down a huge scholarship there last year.

We thought he attended UCSD. I can't even wrap my head around Parsons playing Macheath on stage, wow.
I think the popularity of his character says a lot about people dealing with others differences, beyond the fact that Parsons is amazing. I recently saw the episode where they reveal why he hates Will whoever from Star Trek, which was right on target. So funny.
Asperger's Quiz
http://psychcentral.com/quizzes/autism.htmWe all took a different facebook aspy quiz awhile back that scored people a little higher. There were more questions on it that if you had any degree of social conciousness you'd place on the scale. More worry related, social anxiety questions. It seemed to equate stalling action due to a concern for others feelings or being hesitant as aspyness. People thought I should place higher for saying rude things, but you have to have a disconnect between your behavior and others reaction to it to place high. If you are aware that being direct can upset people, but still do it, that's just being an asshole. This quiz is a little more cut and dry. As it should be, I suppose.
