Tenuous Connections to The Pogues

Post Sat Feb 11, 2012 12:06 pm

To alleviate my frustration with the collapse of my Saturday plans, I thought I would start a thread to work out some tedious and silly links to our favourite band.

You know the drill....I'll get the ball rolling.

What is the connection between The Mamas & the Papas and The Pogues?

How about Stanley Kubrick?

Michelle Phillips was briefly married to Dennis Hopper.

Sorry.

Dennis Hopper got around.

It makes me want to see River's Edge, Blue Velvet, Easy Rider or him really trippin' balls in Apocalypse Now.
I didn't realize he was in Speed :| , forgot about Waterworld. Make that money.

And I'd go with Kubrick - Nicholson - Dylan.

Though you could use Hopper again.
