Thanks! I knew it was simple, but somehow kept missing it. I think my rhythm was off and part of it.

Anyone know specifically what key harmonica is being played in Dirty Old Town? I have the notation down in C but can't get it to sound exactly like in the album version of the song.

Thanks in advance from California.

Hi,

The intro for dirty old town is in the key of D, where the main part of the song is in G, the first few note's, for the intro are:- A, D, E and F# and so on. hopefully you will be able to work the rest out by yourself. if you can't let me know and i will write it all out for you.

Seattle & I just started violin lessons last year and making some progess. I've been playing Kitty and a slow version of Lark In The Morning. Now have asked my teacher to work up something for A Rainy Night In Soho and Lonesome Highway. Does anyone have a link for some free sheet music for either? This would greatly help her (and me). Seattle chose Three Little Birds for her next recital, now traveling the last 2 weeks so I have not heard how she is coming along and can't wait to hear her.
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

I don't understand how to play the rhythm parts, well for example the picking pattern for Transmetropolitan, is there any videos on youtube to help with this?

Hi!

I want to ask if something happened since than, with Banjo-Tabs?

I found very great stuff here, but still searching for jems playing on Repeal (especially for the 1986 Lyon Bootleg version, where he changed playing in the last part of the sond), and of course other stuff...

Would be great. Thanks.

hi, redadeg

regarding repeal jem play's the tune, all single string stuff, for the first and second parts, then at the end he changes into chords.
