it was indeed! and i echo your sentiments. about the new pornographers and about how great it was to meet so many people. i'm glad i spoke up instead of just staring at you guys and wondering if you were the medusans!

A wonderful adventure in New York this time around! More Medusans in one place than I have ever seen. I'm sure we reached some kind of 'critical mass' down there below stage right. And I'm happy to see there is photographic evidence!
As always, the show was amazing, and well worth all the travel. Definitely a night to remember.
Terry Woods was as focused and intense as I've ever seen, James' sawing mandolin action on DOT was brilliant, Shane was bang on, and Philip gave us a big smile down there at the front.
A million thanks to a fine group of gentlemen. Safe travels to all of you. Hope to have a chance to do it all again!

Dear Philip et al., thanks so much for the wonderful shows! We followed you from Washington to Boston to New York and each show was better than the last. You were all in such great form, and Shane the best we've ever seen him! What a high note to finish on - we will be glowing for the rest of the year. Thanks again and hope that someday you find that you really do miss us and want to return.

We made it there!


The 'will call' option worked fine and our tickets were ready in an envelope at the door. I have some excellent photos and videos that i will try and post up when we get home (still in NYC).

Enjoyed the city and it's bars once again, st patricks day was great but my favorite days drinking was in the red lion bleaker st on the 19th, where we got there for breakfast and watched the man u game and then the Ireland/England rugby.

Eight days and nights of great bars, and the pogues.

Did not make St andrews. We checked it out earlier in the week and to be honest (sorry guys), thought it sucked as a bar and with so many better ones about i had to hit the internet to check we had the right bar. St paddys afternoon we were much further away in a better bar so we carried on there.

Off out now for a few goodbye pints, i always leave NY at a point that i can walk into bars and they know our names, it feels like home in such a short space of time.
